6th International Congress on Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection

The 6th International Congress on Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection organized by the International Society of interpersonal acceptance and rejection (ISIPAR) was held from 07th June to 10th June 2016 in Madrid, Spain. There were presented empirical study findings by researchers from many countries in Europe, Asia and the United States.

We participated on the Congress by presenting two papers: (1) “Personal relations and social identity inclusiveness as predictors of perceived group equality and social distance: evidence from Macedonian context” (Ass. Prof. Biljana Blazhevska Stoilkovska, Assoc. Prof. Ana Fritzhand, and Prof. Ali Pajaziti) as an oral communication and (2) “Fostering positive emotions toward out-group members: weather social network or direct communication matters?” (Prof. Ali Pajaziti, Ass. Prof. Biljana Blazhevska Stoilkovska, and Assoc. Prof. Ana Fritzhand) as a poster.

During the period of our presence on the Congress (from 07.06 to 09.06.2016) we were able to follow the lectures, to attend paper sessions and to discuss the importance of interpersonal contacts / relationships, and their role in the group relations and mutual acceptance on personal and group level.
