In April 2015, Dr. Sabina Cehajic-Clancy gave an invited lecture entitled " Restoring intergroup relations in post-conflict societies: socio-psychological processes of intergroup reconciliation" at the prestigious University of Cologne (www.hf.uni-koeln.de). In this talk Dr. Cehajic-Clancy also presented and discussed with the audience a part of the research on the complexity of social identities in the Western Balkans. Part of the lecture was devoted to how the multidimensionality and inclusiveness of social identities can contribute to reconciliation and intergroup tolerance and relations in post-conflict societies in the Western Balkans. The lecture was well attended (over 50 participants) and caused considerable attention and interest of participants about the topic and the results of the SIBY project.
